The science, with the uncertainty left in

How Blimbi distinguishes strong evidence, limited findings, broad educational models, and questions that remain open.

Evidence is more than a confident sentence

Blimbi gives preference to current public-health guidance, recognized medical bodies, systematic reviews, and well-designed human trials. Observational research can be useful when trials cannot answer a question, but it cannot always separate cause from correlation. Mechanistic and animal findings are labeled and never presented as proven human outcomes.

What we will not infer from a clock

Claims such as “autophagy starts at a specific hour” overstate what human evidence can establish. Metabolic phases can help explain concepts, but they are broad educational windows—not measurements of an individual body. The app does not detect ketosis, fat use, glucose, or cellular processes.

Where evidence supports a claim, we aim to describe the population studied, comparison, duration, magnitude, and uncertainty. When those details are unavailable, the language should become more cautious, not more exciting.
